The Scantronic 440 is a true quad logic motion detector. It uses twin channel Passive Infra Red (PIR) technology to detect movement of body heat to activate the alarm in the event of an intrusion. Only if both dual elements detect an intruder will the alarm be activated, thus it is an ideal solution for turbulent environments.
